Today, you'll visit some of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, there will be a briefing about the trek, and you'll have time to finalize any preparations and shop for last-minute items.
After an early morning flight to Lukla, you'll meet your trekking crew and start your trek. The trail descends towards the Dudh Kosi River, passing through lush pine forests and small villages before reaching Phakding.
Today’s trek follows the Dudh Kosi River and crosses several suspension bridges. The trail gradually ascends, leading you through forests and alongside stunning waterfalls. The highlight is the strenuous climb to Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region.
A day for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the altitude. You can explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local museum, or hike up to Everest View Hotel for breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
The trail to Tengboche offers stunning views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. You’ll descend to the Dudh Kosi River, then climb up to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region.
Today's trek takes you through lush forests and past Mani walls as you make your way to the picturesque village of Dingboche. The trail offers magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Ama Dablam and Island Peak.
Another acclimatization day to adapt to the higher altitude. You can hike up to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views or simply rest and explore the village.
A short trek to Chhukung, followed by an optional climb of Chhukung Ri for stunning views of Lhotse, Makalu, and Baruntse. This climb helps with acclimatization and prepares you for the upcoming high passes.
